Houghton Bay project cost clarification
A variety of traffic solutions in Houghton Bay to improve safety for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians will cost $330,000, not $85,000 as Wellington City Council stated in a news release last week.
The total cost, including road works, new footpaths and a new shared path for cyclists and pedestrians, will cost $330,000. The $85,000 we quoted in Friday’s news release represents the cost for the roundabout and car park components of the project.
We apologise for the error.
