Pilot forced to land in paddock
The pilot of a small plane safely landed in a paddock near Motueka this morning after his engine failed on approach to Motueka airfield.
The plane nosedived slightly on landing, but has remained upright.
The single occupant of the privately-owned aircraft was unharmed.
The incident happened about 10.30am.
