Title: Police remove body of elderly Asian man found near Tinakori Road off ramp earlier today
Police have removed the body of a man found near the Tinakori Road off ramp earlier this afternoon.
Detective Senior Sergeant Scott Miller of the Wellington CIB says the body of an elderly Asian male was found on a grass area at the bottom of a 30 metre wall next to the Tinakori Road motorway off ramp shortly after midday.
"We are treating the death as unexplained at this stage until a post-mortem examination is carried out but we are not seeking anyone else in connection to the incident."
D/S/S Miller would like to hear from any motorists or office workers on The Terrace who may have witnessed anything in this area shortly before midday.
