Ferry services delayed
All ferry services into the Auckland CBD have been stopped because the downtown area is at capacity.
Due to the large crowds people are unable to get into ferry terminals and ferries are unable to offload passengers. Police are endeavouring to clear crowds from the ferry building area before sailings can recommence.
ATEED has previously advised people to stop coming to the CBD and find alternative viewing points to watch the fireworks display.
People at North Shore wharfs are advised to make their own way to the match at Eden Park. Free special event buses are operating from Takapuna, all Northern Busway Stations.
People waiting at Half Moon Bay Marina and Pine Harbour are advised that special event buses are leaving from Pakuranga.
West Harbour – passengers heading to Eden Park are advised to head to Henderson Station or other stations on the Western Line.
