Full blown spring
After a firm ending to last week Sunday afternoon released and made the entire mountain a magical place to be skiing and
riding. It was perfect timing for the Riders & Sliders, who managed to munch through a huge box of sausages, high-five TC cat and celebrate a big season of fun, team
work and much improved skiing and boarding.
The ego was also stroked for a small but dedicated bunch of Masters skiers, who were left tossing up between Lucas's
lunch platters and skiing. Most managed both which made for a great day.
Since then it has been excellent skiing and riding until today when the weather made one of its infrequent entrances and
blew us off the hill. However this is going to rip through pretty fast, potentially leaving a dusting of new snow and
the sun will be out tomorrow morning. This is a good opportunity to get your gear waxed and ready for the remainder of

CANADIAN freestyle skiers
Lower Sinclairs is currently home to the Canadian Men's World Cup Freestyle mogul team. Including world number three Mik
Kingsbury the team was 'bumped' from Australia and ended up at TC. According to coach Rob Cober ' It's all turned out
for the best'. Make the effort to drop past their training area to see some world class skills! With the Soichi Winter
Olympics high on their priorities they are already planning a return for 2012.
PUMP Mini Mountain
The Pump Mini Mountain event invites young skiers and boarders to try their legs in a freeride Big Mountain event. It's
a mentored weekend aimed at teaching skills, safety and etiquette around competitions like this. It's open to kids 13
years and under as of 1 Jan 2011. The full weekend is Saturday with four hours of coaching and Sunday two Big Mountain
runs followed by prizegiving on the plaza. Entries are available on line for the full weekend $40 or the Sunday event at
