Special bedside Court sitting held for murder accused
A special Court sitting has been held at Wellington Hospital at the bedside of a 51 year old man charged with the murder of 41 year old Eman Hurmiz.
Eman Hurmiz died at a Raukawa Street address in Strathmore on Friday 2 September. She had received multiple stab wounds to her body.
51 year old Najeeb Dawood has been remanded for two weeks to reappear in the Wellington District Court on 19 September 2011.
A scene examination at the Raukawa Street address is continuing and a large team of Police staff are continuing their investigation into the fatal stabbing.
