Motorcyclist fighting for his life following crash north of Hamilton
Hamilton Police are yet to interview the motorists involved in a collision north of the City this morning that has left a motorcyclist fighting for his life in hospital.
Sergeant Craig Taylor said emergency services were called to the scene of the crash, on SH1 two kilometres south of the Te Rapa Dairy Factory, shortly after 10am.
"The Waikato Serious Crash Unit is still investigating what happened and both the driver of the car and the motorcyclist are still to be interviewed.
"The 49-year-old rider of the northbound Ducati motorcycle was taken to Waikato Hospital by ambulance suffering from serious injuries," he said.
