Nakedbus.com makes getting to Waikato games
*Nakedbus.com introduces special services from Auckland for the 3 games at Waikato Stadium*
**
Nakedbus.com has responded to hundreds of requests from customers struggling to find transport to get to Hamilton for
the games at Waikato Stadium. The nationwide budget bus company has introduced special services that will take
passengers from Auckland to Hamilton in time for the game, and home straight after.
Nakedbus.com CEO Hamish Nuttall says people are looking to public transport for answers and no-one else seems to be
answering them. The lack of transport options available to rugby fans might also be one of the factors hurting ticket
sales.
“Accommodation is completely booked out in Hamilton, parking will be a nightmare and there are just not enough options
for ticket holders to get to support their team and the tournament. Not only are these services convenient, they are
affordable too. Our usual $1 seats apply to these services too.”
The services leave from downtown Auckland, Manukau City and Bombay and take fans right to central Hamilton where there
are free shuttles to the stadium. Buses run as follows:
16th September: New Zealand vs. Japan, departing Auckland at 4pm, returning at 11:30pm, arriving back into Auckland City
at 1:30am.
18th September: Wales vs. Samoa, departing Auckland at 10:30am, returning at 7pm, arriving back into Auckland City at
9pm.
2nd October: Wales vs. Fiji, departing Auckland at 2pm, returning at 9:30pm, arriving back into Auckland City at
11:30pm.
You can book your tickets online at www.nakedbus.com – and the earlier you book, the cheaper it is.
Nuttall is expecting these services to book out quickly and encourages ticket holders looking for transport to other
games to register their interest with the company online.
“This way, people who would like a beer or two while watching the game, can enjoy themselves without having to worry
about driving home,” smiles Mr Nuttall.
