Search for missing woman in Hillmorton
Christchurch Police are concerned for the wellbeing of a 29 year old woman missing in the Hillmorton area.
Egyptian-born Gina Nashaat WASILI suffers from diabetes and is insulin dependent. She has been missing since 5.00 pm on Tuesday evening. Due to her medical condition it is possible she may be disorientated and confused.
She was last seen on Sylvan Street at 4.30 pm yesterday wearing blue jeans, black jacket and slippers. Gina is 166 centimetres tall (5 feet 4 inches), of slim build with long black hair.
Residents of the Hillmorton/Addington area are asked to check their properties and outbuildings.
Police Search and Rescue and LandSAR launched a search last night using dogs and field teams but have not found anything to date.
