Flag at half-mast for fallen soldier

The New Zealand flag outside Hamilton City Council’s chamber will fly at half-mast today in honour of the New Zealand Defence Force soldier killed in Afghanistan.
The flying of the flag at half-mast is at the request of Prime Minister John Key, and applies to all Government buildings.
The flag will be lowered again on the day of the soldier’s funeral, the date of which has not yet been announced.
