"West Coast - Supporting the Pike River Miners" Fundraising Calendar is now stocked in Kodak express stores nationwide, and in selected Warehouse stores, And has already raised over $5,000 for the Pike River Mine Disaster Relief Trust (www.pikeriverdonations.org.nz)," says photographer, Jason Law.
The fundraising calendar has been fully endorsed by the Pike River Mine Disaster Relief Trust with $10 from the sale of every calendar donated to the Trust.
Calendars can be purchased online at www.pikerivercalendar.com and www.trademe.co.nz. We are still looking for retailers both in NZ and Australia to get behind the spirit of this venture who can contact Jason for further details.
The Calendar features a collection of thirteen West Coast images taken in the weeks after the Pike River Coal Mine disaster by photographer Jason Law. These photographs reflect the beauty and tranquility of the Coast.
"There are many people on the West Coast and elsewhere who have been affected by this tragedy and we just hope to be able to help them financially in the up coming months," says Jason Law.
