More time needed to make decision on Treetech New Year’s Eve Celebration
Final checks are continuing before a decision can be made about whether the Treetech New Year’s Celebration will be held in Cathedral Square as planned.
A decision is now expected tomorrow morning (Thursday 30 December).
City Environment Group General Manager Jane Parfitt says Council engineers are in the final stages of evaluating the safety of buildings around the Square.
