Cordons lifted after Remuera Bomb threat
All cordons have been lifted in Remuera after a specialist search team cleared the area.
Police were responding to a telephoned threat that an explosive device had been planted in a reasonably specific area.
An enquiry team will be following up leads described as promising in an attempt to identify the grinch who made the threat.
Inspector Shawn Rutene thanks shop owners and the public for their cooperation and patience during the closures.
