Man Dies After Fall Balcony

Wellington Police investigating death of a young man who fell from balcony of apartment
Wellington CIB is investigating the death of a young male, which occurred in the central city around 7:30am.
Detective Senior Sergeant Donna Howard says emergency services were called to an apartment block on Taranaki Street after reports that a person had fallen from a balcony of an apartment.
"Ambulance staff performed CPR on the male but he has died at the scene."
Donna Howard says a scene examination is being carried out to establish how this man came to his death. Until the scene examination and the post-mortem examination are completed, Police do not have any further details to release at this time.
