Open invitation to attend Tauranga Eastern Link information day
A public information day to share the latest news on the Tauranga Eastern Link will be held on Wednesday, December 1 at Gordon Spratt Centre, Papamoa between 4pm and 7.30pm.
Members of the NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) project team, their consultants and the Fulton Hogan-Heb Alliance construction team will be on hand to explain the project, its construction programme and answer questions.
People attending the information day will also be able to view the new route animation.
Principal Project Manager, Andrew Scott says keeping the public informed is an important part of this project, especially given its large scale and the proportion of construction that will be out of view and not seen.
“Now construction is underway we are keen to get the community up to speed with what’s happening. The project team will have a range of information available about the project, including a route animation that gives an interesting view of what the Tauranga Eastern Link will look like.
I encourage people to come along to the information day to view the project information and take the opportunity to speak with members of the project team," says Mr Scott.
