Waipara Catchment Environmental Flow and Water Allocation Regional Plan – Hearing Postponed
The hearing, scheduled for Monday, November 29, 2010, for the Proposed Waipara Catchment Environmental Flow and Water Allocation Regional Plan has been postponed.
Environment Canterbury has identified further work is required to assess the economic impact of the minimum flow and partial restriction recommendations in the Officer’s Report. This needs to occur prior to the hearing commencing in order for both submitters and the Hearing Panel to fully consider the implications.
Environment Canterbury will meet with submitters and clarify the process before the end of 2010.
The hearing will be rescheduled in the New Year.
