A recorded interview has been added to the Police website with Detective Senior Sergeant Hywel [pron, Howell] Jones, officer in charge of the Hiren Mohini homicide investigation.
Mr Jones is currently in Shanghai where a suspect was detained by Chinese authorities last week. He is interviewed by Auckland City communications manager Noreen Hegarty.
The interview was carried out in an effort to satisfy the many questions from media this week and is available for use by media.

Police will not be adding further comment to the interview at this time.
