Big screen to broadcast All Whites pool matches live
A 40-square metre screen has been installed at Queens Wharf in time for fans to see the All Whites take on Slovakia in the FIFA World Cup tomorrow night at 11.30pm.
The screen, which has been provided free of charge to the Council by Australian-based Nvisage Media International in conjunction with Monstavision New Zealand Limited, will be on site until 11 July and will screen live and replay free-to-air coverage of the tournament, as provided by TVNZ..
All games that start live before 11.30pm will be screened, including the All Whites pool matches against Italy and Paraguay, which both kick-off at 2am.
