Title: Police investigate suspected arson
Police will this morning join fire safety officers to investigate the cause of a fire which has extensively damaged a fast food outlet.
The fire was at the Kentucky Fried Chicken in Oxford Street, Levin, in the early hours of this morning and police suspect that the blaze, which began outside the building, was deliberate.
No one was in the building at the time and there were no injuries.
Officers will also be scouring local security footage for anything which might assist the investigation.
Anyone with any information about the fire is asked to contact Levin Police on 06 366 0500.
