Light up Auckland’s Christmas Wish Tree!
We’re in the countdown to Christmas and we need your help to help us raise funds for the Auckland City Mission.
This year, the Mission is piloting a new online fundraising opportunity, the Christmas Wish Tree - www.christmaswishtree.com. You can go online, buy decorations for the tree, and send a link to your decoration and your Christmas wish to your
friends, family and clients. You can also just use the tree to send free wishes to the people you care about, and spread
peace and goodwill.
All money raised from the tree goes to support the Mission’s great work over Christmas and into the New Year.
We also have a special auction opportunity
The star on the Christmas tree is being auctioned on Trade Me
The auction is a fantastic opportunity to put your company’s name up in lights, or send a very special message to
someone you love, that we can all enjoy! The winning bidder will get to place the star on top of the Christmas Wish Tree
at on Christmas Eve, with their name, the name of their company or the name of someone they love on it. They can also
add a Christmas wish to the star for everyone to enjoy. The money raised from the auction will go to the Auckland City
Mission’s Christmas Appeal, so they are also giving a gift to the whole Auckland community – it’s the ultimate Christmas
gift!
To find out all about the auction, just go on to the Trade Me site, put ‘christmas tree star mission’ into the Trade Me
search engine and you will go straight to the auction.
So we need your help
We’ve just got the Christmas Wish Tree up and running properly this week – and we’d love to get as many donations to the
tree as possible in the few days remaining until Christmas. So please help us spread the word. Send this email on to
your friends and family, visit the tree and share some wishes, or join the auction on Trade Me.

already donated to the Mission's Christmas Appeal. Each donation helps the Mission provide Auckland families with the assistance and support they need throughout the
holidays and into the New Year.
