Hear Yulia Perform in Cuba Mall
Wellington songbird, Yulia, will entertain shoppers in Cuba Mall this Saturday to promote her upcoming fundraising concert for inner city social agency Downtown Community Ministry.
Beginning at midday, the New Zealand music award nominee will perform songs from her multi platinum album, "Into the West" plus a selection of beautiful new material.
A sought after performer and with a voice of rare beauty Yulia is committed to using her talent to benefit others.
She says, "Downtown Community Ministry helps people get the basic things we all need, like food and shelter. I hope everyone will support their work".
Downtown Community Ministry staff will be present to talk to passers by and tell them about the support they give to people in need.
The busking session offers a wonderful preview for the 'Yulia's Christmas' fundraising concert at St John's in the City on Thursday December 4th.
Tickets are on sale now and will be available for purchase during the busking performance.

All proceeds from the concert will go towards Downtown Community Ministry's practical work with people living on low incomes.
Saturday also offers Wellingtonians a chance to support the DCM food bank.
Volunteers will be collecting donated food items from Wellington City, Newtown and Willis St New World supermarkets to stock shelves for the Christmas season.
DCM Events Coordinator David Cross says, "This is a chance for the generous Wellington community to give and make a real difference".
