Man Charged Over Taumarunui Homicide

A man who died in Taumarunui at the weekend has now been formally identified, and a second man arrested and charged with his murder.
Taumarunui Police have been investigating the death of 56-year-old Simon Conrad, a local Taumarunui man, after he was found dead in a flat in Para Street around 7am on Saturday morning (15 November).
An 18-year-old man also from the town has this morning been charged with murder and will appear in Taumarunui District Court this afternoon.
