Death In New Plymouth Being Treated As Suspicious

Police in New Plymouth were called just after midnight this morning (Sunday, 16 November) to a house in the Blagdon area of New Plymouth. A 31-year-old man was dead inside the house.
The death is being treated as suspicious and a scene examination and area enquiries are underway. The death appears to have followed an altercation at a party nearby, a short time before the police were called.
Anyone who heard or saw anything that might be relevant to this investigation is asked to contact the police.
