Overnight motorway closures
The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements and maintenance. Closures start at 9pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed on or before the contingency date.
NORTHERN MOTORWAY (SH1)
·         Northbound motorway lanes between Greville Road off-ramp and and Oteha Valley Road on-ramp 16 November
·         Northbound motorway lanes between Silverdale off-ramp and Silverdale on-ramp 17 November
·         Southbound motorway lanes between Oteha Valley Road off-ramp to Greville Road on-ramp 18 November
Contingency: 11 December
·         Northbound motorway lanes between Onewa Road off-ramp and Onewa Road on-ramp 16 – 18 November
·         Northcote Road southbound on-ramp 16 – 18 November
Contingency: 20 November
AUCKLAND HARBOUR BRIDGE (SH1)
·         Curran Street on-ramp and Auckland Harbour Bridge lanes one and two northbound 16 – 18 November (approx. 7pm – 5.30am)
SOUTHERN MOTORWAY (SH1)
·         Northbound motorway lanes between Takanini off-ramp and Redoubt Road on-ramp 16 November
STATE HIGHWAY 16 AND 18
·         All lanes between Royal Road, Oreil Avenue and Don Buck Road 16 – 18 November
Contingency: 2 December
SOUTHWESTERN MOTORWAY (SH20)
·         Rimu Road northbound on-ramp 16 – 18 November
·         Mahunga Drive southbound off-ramp 16 – 18 November
Contingency: 19 November
LOCAL ROADS
·         Mahunga Drive/Rimu Road westbound between Miro Road and Coronation Road 16 – 18 November
·         Mahunga Drive/Rimu Road eastbound between Coronation Road and Rimu Road on-ramp 16 – 18 November
Contingency: 19 November
·         Ellerslie-Panmure Highway eastbound between Ellerslie-Panmure roundabout and Main Highway 18 November
Contingency: 4 December
