Defence Force On Show At Waterfront Event
The Wellington public will have the chance to get close to a number New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) vehicles and
helicopters at the Ride for your Life on the Wellington Waterfront on 5 November.
The event, to benefit the Wellington Free Ambulance, runs from 6.00pm to 8.00pm prior to the annual Pelorus Trust Sky
Show fireworks display over Wellington harbour.
The NZDF display will include a Navy Seasprite helicopter, Air Force Iroquois helicopter, NZ Army Light Armoured Vehicle
(LOV) and NZ Cadet Forces information.
Other attractions include a demonstration of thrill rides on the water near Frank Kitts Park including jetboats,
thundercats and wake boarding.
