Date Announced For 2009 Mission Estate Winery Concert

The date for the much anticipated, annual Mission Estate Winery Concert has been confirmed as Saturday, 28th February
2009.
Sports and Entertainment Limited (SEL) Director of Operations Garry Craft says the date announcement allows concert fans
to start planning accommodation and travel for next year’s concert immediately.
"Hawke's Bay is always overwhelmed with demand for accommodation during the weekend of the concert, and we are pleased
to be able to confirm the date to help both concert fans and the local tourism industry.
“This year the Mission Concert website also features a Free Accommodation Listing Service which provides fans with a
range of accommodation options listed by local property owners and agents."

Since the inaugural concert in 1993, the Mission Estate Winery Concert has become a landmark occasion on the New Zealand
events calendar; and has hosted renowned international acts such as Rod Stewart, the Beach Boys, Shirley Bassey, The
Doobie Brothers, The B52’s, Kenny Rodgers, Sir Cliff Richard, Ray Charles, Eric Clapton and Tom Jones.
