The Otago Stadium – Coming To A Town Near You
The Otago Stadium is coming to a town near you, with representatives touring Otago during November to meet the community and provide an update on the new multipurpose, fully roofed Stadium for the South of the Waitaki.
Guy Hedderwick, Commercial Manager said now was an ideal time to tour the region with design at an advanced stage and the recent launch of the Otago Stadium brand and a range of products including lounge memberships and hospitality products on sale.
“We’re looking forward to getting out to the regions and meeting with the Otago community faceto- face. In each town we visit we are hosting an informal event which the public is invited and welcome to attend.
“You can come and meet us, hear a presentation on latest developments on the Otago Stadium and ask us questions. We look forward to seeing you there and to share with you the outstanding experiences on offer inside the new Otago Stadium.
“We have been delighted by the positive response from community leaders who are behind the new Otago Stadium and have welcomed the opportunity for us to hold events in their community,” said Mr Hedderwick.
Events will be held on the following dates and locations:
• Oamaru, 3 November, Waitaki Boys’ High School Auditorium
• Wanaka, 4 November, Wanaka Centre
• Alexandra, 5 November, The Cellar Door Restaurant
• Balclutha, 10 November, South Otago Town and Country Club
• Roxburgh, 11 November, Memorial Hall
• Queenstown, 12 November, Queenstown Memorial Hall.
For each event, doors open at 6:30pm and presentations begin at 7:00pm. The format is: a welcome by local dignitary, presentations from the Otago Stadium representatives followed by a question and answer session. Refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the event.
A fact sheet on the new Otago Stadium is attached. Further details on The Otago Stadium, including commercial products and sponsorship opportunities are available online at www.otagostadium.co.nz.
