1:12pm 28 October 2008
Police are currently investigating two attempts to break into ATM machines within the Christchurch area.
At approximately 12.55 am on the 21st of October 2008 at the Westpac ATM situated at the Halswell shopping centre, a male Caucasian has attempted to gain access to the bank and ATM machine using a number of tools.
At approximately 3.05am on Thursday the 23rd of October a male has attempted to gain access to the ANZ ATM situated at 21 Halswell Road.
Police are interested to hear from any person that may have seen any people or vehicles acting suspiciously around these two locations at the relevant times.
