Papanui Police wish to make a media release in an effort to identify the knife-weilding robber who robbed the Shirley Pizza Hut at 2330hrs Saturday 18 October 2008.

Maori or Polynesian
20-30 years old
Described as big or solid build
180-185cms tall
Offender clothing
White baseball cap
Dark blue bandana with white Paisley pattern around face
Dark brown hoody with white pattern on front and full length zip
Unknown coloured long pants
White sport shoes
Carrying
20-25cm knife with black plastic handle
Light green back pack that had black straps
Male robbed Pizza Hut at knife point and then left on foot possibly west on Warrington Street
