A Hamilton man, missing since Tuesday morning, was found by Police divers in the Waikato River today.
Detective Senior Sergeant Chris Page of Hamilton CIB, said the body of Paul John FRASER, 53, was found by members of the Police Dive Squad shortly after midday.
A tetraplegic, Mr FRASER was found with his wheelchair.
"The dive team found Mr FRASER in an area of the river off Memorial Park and his death has now been referred to the Coroner," said Mr Page.
"At this time Police would like to acknowledge members of the community who contacted us in regards to sightings of Mr FRASER and extend our condolences to the bereaved family."
