River Search Yields Nothing - Police

River Search Yields Nothing
A search of the Avon River this morning by boat and helicopter has not located anything relevant in the search for Tisha Lowry.
DSS Virginia Le Bas says that the searchers found visibility excellent and the search is nearly complete.
"A helicopter helped with the search of the estuary as a sweeping view could be seen from it. The boats should return within the hour."
A team of Police officers has been on Wainoni Road this morning stopping all vehicles, showing pictures of Tisha and talking with drivers.
Canterbury Surf Life Saving assisted with the search this morning and police appreciate their help.
DSS LE Bas will be available at Central at 4pm this afternoon if any media wish to speak with her.
