Wellington Police are concerned about an elderly Vietnamese man who has been missing from his Mt Cook home since 21 August.
Detective Sergeant Jason Perry, Wellington CIB, says Do Trieu (pronounced D'o True) frequently visited Auckland to see friends in the Vietnamese community. It is unusual for him however to spend such a long time away without contacting his Wellington family.
It's believed Do is possibly staying with friends in the Vietnamese community somewhere in the Auckland area.
Do is in reasonable health, is 68 years old, approximately 155cm tall and of medium build.
If you have seen him, know where he is, or have any information that might help police find him, please contact Wellington Police on 0800 TIPOFF (0800 847 633).
