Hamilton Aggravated Robbery Suspect Named

Hamilton Police investigating a series of aggravated robberies over recent weeks have released the identity of a man
they are seeking in relation to a recent spate hold ups in the city.
Head of the investigation, Detective Sergeant Neville Ross, said Roger Kenneth BALLER, 34, is currently wanted on a
return to prison warrant.
"BALLER was released from prison in late June having served just over half of an eight year prison sentence for
aggravated robbery and kidnap charges.
"Following his release BALLER breached his release conditions and a warrant was issued for his arrest for him to be
returned to prison. In the interim we believe he has been involved in a number of recent aggravated robberies," said Mr
Ross.
BALLER is also wanted in connection with a number of burglaries in the city.
A male Caucasian, BALLER is of medium build and approximately 176cm tall.
"This man has a history of violent offending and as such we advise that he not be approached, should he be seen we
advise people to dial 111," said Mr Ross.
"Given the seriousness of the offending under investigation we are appealing to anyone with information on his
whereabouts to contact their nearest Police Station."
