Last days for residents to buy $22 tickets to Ellerslie International Flower Show
Christchurch residents/ratepayers have only seven days left to buy tickets to the Ellerslie International Flower Show at the special price of $22 a ticket.
The special offer, which recognises that with the City Council buying Ellerslie last year the Show is owned by the people of Christchurch, ends at 5pm on Tuesday 30 September.
“We wanted to make it easy and affordable for as many of our residents as possible to attend next year’s event which is shaping up to be the best Show in Ellerslie’s 14-year history,” says Christchurch Mayor Bob Parker.
“There is strong community support for the Show which is reflected both in ticket sales and the growing number of exhibitions.
“During the first three weeks of the special resident/ratepayer offer, we have sold almost 5000 tickets. It shows our community is as excited as I am about this event.”
From 1 October, Christchurch residents/ratepayers can still buy tickets to the Show but these will be at the Early Bird price of $28 each.
Specially priced resident/ratepayer tickets can be purchased from Council’s Service Centres, Civic Offices, by phoning the Customer Call Centre on 941 8999 or from the website www.ellerslieflowershow.co.nz until the end of this month.
