Help Sought For Waterfront Assault

Wellington Police Maritime Unit is appealing for help after two men were assaulted on the wharf about 11.30pm on Wednesday night, 10 September.
Three young men thought to be aged between 17 years to early 20s, punched and kicked two men who were working on a charter boat, berthed near the Waterloo Quay/Whitmore Street traffic gates.
The attackers fled onto Whitmore and Featherston Streets, heading towards the railway station.
Police say the assault happened soon after the heavy metal concert featuring Disturbed had finished at the TSB Arena. There were a lot of people walking in the area at the time.
