SKYCITY Cinemas will open its new flagship 10-screen multiplex at Westfield Manukau City to the public this weekend 13
September 2008.
Revolutionising the cinema experience for the people of Manukau City, SKYCITY’s new multiplex at Westfield Manukau City
will offer 1,932 cinema seats, with eight state-of-the-art mainstream auditoria, two premium Cinema Deluxe auditoria, a
digital cinema system capable of showing films in 3D, a licensed bar, function room and a Time Out interactive games
area.

SKYCITY Cinemas eight mainstream auditoria will offer luxurious extra-wide seating with double-arm rests, generous
legroom and stadium seating to give movie-goers unparalleled comfort. Expanding on the traditional cinema experience,
the Manukau complex will also boast a licensed bar, function room, as well as a Time Out interactive games area.
Cinema Deluxe comprises two dedicated auditoria seating 78 and 62 guests, respectively. Leather reclining chairs ensure
every seat is literally the best in the house. The full-sized auditoria boast wall-to-wall screens and state-of-the-art
digital sound, giving guests a big-screen experience in an intimate environment. Guests will have a broad selection of
food and dining options, along with a fully-licensed bar featuring a selection of fine wines, beers, soft drinks, juices
and coffee.
