Auckland Airport appoints general manager property
Auckland International Airport Limited (Auckland Airport) today announced the appointment of Peter Alexander as its new general manager property reporting to Simon Moutter, chief executive officer.
The role is responsible for an investment portfolio comprising over 40 commercial properties worth over $500 million, as well as the company’s broader airport property interests. He will take up his new role in early October.
Peter, 43, joins Auckland Airport from Goodman where he is currently general manager acquisitions and new business. His responsibilities include the development and implementation of Goodman’s acquisition strategy and managing divestment transactions.
Prior to that, he spent seven years with AMP Capital Investors (ACI). Peter was responsible for establishing ACI’s property ventures business as well being the general manager of Property for Industry Limited.
Simon Moutter said, “With one of the largest land banks in the Auckland region, Peter’s property management, development and investment experience will be of great value to Auckland Airport as we continue to grow and expand our property portfolio.”
Peter has a property degree from the University of Auckland.
