Two Charged With Thefts From Charity Boxes

Two men, aged 40 and 57 years, will appear in court this morning charged with eight counts of theft from charitable collection boxes of which a number relate to the Foundation for the Blind. These all occurred in Christchurch.
Detective Paul Johannsen, Papanui CIB, says Police are currently collating a number of complaints and any retailer who has had a charity box stolen is asked to contact him at Papanui Police phone 3741740.
