SH1 Northern Motorway traffic bulletin
Sunday 27 – Thursday 31 July
Transit New Zealand advises motorists of the following upcoming closure for work on the Northern Motorway (SH1):
Sunday 27 - Thursday 31 July
• All motorway lanes northbound between Onewa Rd off-ramp and Onewa Rd on-ramp closed each night from 10pm until 5am for
bridge works.
Diversion via Onewa Rd northbound on and off-ramps.
ONEWA RD
Sunday 27 - Thursday 31 July
• Onewa Rd southbound on-ramp closed each night from 10pm until 5am for traffic switch and barrier movements.
Diversion via Northcote Rd southbound on-ramp.
ESMONDE RD
Tuesday 29 - Wednesday 30 July
• Akoranga Dr and Esmonde Rd northbound on-ramps closed each night from 8.30pm until 4am for guardrail installation.
Diversion via Barrys Point Rd and Taharoto Rd to Northcote Rd.
Motorists are advised to follow the signposted detours while the closure is in place. Transit New Zealand regrets any
inconvenience caused.
