Police are not seeking anyone in relation to an incident reported yesterday when it was thought a man had knocked an elderly woman into Colombo Street.
Constable Alan Roberts says it appears the woman had come into contact with a blind man and his dog, and the man was unaware that the woman had fallen. Constable Roberts has spoken with the blind man.
"It was an unfortunate accident and there was no evidence of malice on anyone's behalf," Alan Roberts says. "But thank you to everyone who witnessed it and called."
