Johnsonville Bank Robbery Offender Sought

Wellington Police are investigating the robbery of the Johnsonville Branch of the National Bank, Johnsonville Road, Wellington at 4.16pm today.
A teller was handed a note and fearing for her safety she handed the offender a small amount of cash.
The offender left the premises on foot. He has been described as:
• Male African
• Aged between 15 - 18 years
• Approximately 5ft 6"
• Slight/Petite build
• Wearing a black zip up puffer vest over a white hooded top
• He was also wearing a white speckled baseball cap.
Police are seeking the help of the public to ensure that this offender is apprehended. Police would like to hear from anyone who knows the identity of this offender.
At the time of the robbery there were many persons in the shopping area. Police would like to hear from any person who may have seen this offender prior to or after the Robbery.
