Santa Ditches The Snow For A Safari Sunset
Don’t be surprised to see wild African animals processing into the Christchurch Convention Centre on Friday the 12th of
December – they’ll be getting ready for the Wildest Christmas party ever to hit Christchurch, “Santa Goes on Safari”.
Vbase, Christchurch’s leading venue management company, will once again host local businesses at the best Christmas
party of the year and this time Santa has ditched the penguins and polar bears and headed to a warmer climate.
“Last year’s “Santa Goes South” Christmas Party was such a success that we have already had bookings for this year’s
party from people who attended last year,” says Janelle Frost, Vbase Business Development Manager, Christchurch and
South Island.
“The Christmas party is designed for small to medium businesses that don’t necessarily have the staff numbers, resources
or even the time to put on a party themselves. Every company that partied with us last year said it was the ideal way to
reward staff for their hard work during the year,” says Janelle Frost.
The “Santa Goes on Safari” themed party will include hilarious entertainment, a delicious themed three-course meal and,
back by popular demand, music from local band ‘Mister Meena’. The venue will be transformed into the African Safari with
roaming animals, crackling bonfires and the stunning colours of the sun setting over the African Plains.
Janelle Frost advises companies to cover their Christmas bases by getting in early to make a booking and to take
advantage of the “early bird” discount.
“Christmas is really not that far away and instead of stressing about organising your own staff party why not let us do
all the hard work for you? Not only will “Santa Goes on Safari” be the biggest and best Christmas party in Christchurch,
it is also extremely cost effective and affordable.
“Avoid the stampede and book early for the wildest Christmas Party ever to hit Christchurch!” she says.
