Mayor making good progress
Manukau mayor Len Brown is making good progress following heart bypass surgery at Auckland Hospital.
Following yesterday’s operation, Mr Brown’s condition continues to be closely monitored. He remains in a critical but stable condition and is making good progress.
Mr Brown’s family has been with him in hospital but general visitors will not be allowed access.
Those wishing to send messages of support and comfort are welcome to drop them off at the council reception, Civic Building, Wiri Station Rd; at Manukau Libraries; fill out an online form at www.manukau.govt.nz or post to Manukau City Council, Private Bag 76917, Manukau city, Attention Brown Family.
