SH20 Manukau Harbour Crossing traffic bulletin
Sunday 25 - Friday 30 May
Transit New Zealand advises motorists of the following upcoming closures for work on the Southwestern Motorway (SH20) as part of the Manukau Harbour Crossing project.
Closures will be in place for one or two nights between Sunday 25 May and Friday 30 May:
* Rimu Road/Mahunga Drive eastbound lanes between the Coronation Road roundabout and Miro Road closed each night from 9pm until 5am for drilling and barrier movements.
Detour via Coronation Road, Walmsley Road and Mahunga Drive.
* Rimu Road/Mahunga Drive westbound lanes between Miro Road and Coronation Road roundabout closed each night from 9pm until 5am for drilling and barrier movements.
Detour via Mahunga Drive, Walmsley Road and Coronation Road.
* Walmsley Road southbound off-ramp closed each night from 9pm until 5am for barrier movements and line marking.
Detour via Rimu Road/Mahunga Dr off-ramp to Mahunga Drive and Walmsley Road.
* Rimu Road/Mahunga Drive southbound off-ramp closed each night from 9pm until 5am for drilling and barrier movements.
Detour via Walmsley Road off-ramp to Walmsley Road and Mahunga Drive.
If any of the contingency dates are required then all scheduled work will be reviewed to ensure no two consecutive ramps or interchanges are closed at the same time.
Motorists are advised to follow the signposted detours while the closures are in place. Transit New Zealand regrets any inconvenience caused.
