1080 Notices In Christchurch Botanic Garden Believed To Be A Hoax

Overnight five 1080 poison signs have been placed in the Christchurch Botanic gardens in the area of a parking area and various trees.
These notices look like the genuine DOC article however the phone number is the Press newspaper. The pellets are dyed green but they are not thought to be1080. These will be examined by DOC.
Christchurch Beat Staff say that it is not thought to be sinister but a publicity stunt.
If anyone locates any pellets they are advised to contact police.
