Take the Traffic Free Way to Hamilton V8’s
There is a traffic free way to get to the Hamilton V8’S over the weekend out of Auckland and that is to catch the train.
Tranz Scenic is running a train from Auckland with several stops along the way as they appreciate many people just want to get to the races and enjoy the track action rather than fighting the traffic there and back and then have to find parking as well.
The trains will leave from the following locations at the following times, both on Saturday and Sunday of this weekend ;
Newmarket, 6.04am, The Strand(Parnell) 6.08am,Glenn Innes 6.18am, Papatoetoe 6.29am, Papakura 6.42am and Pukekohe 6.59am
The train will then get back into Auckland at 8.45pm each night. Return fares for the train are $70 for adults and $55 for children.
Bookings can be made either through the Tranz Scenic website, www.tranzscenic.co.nz or you can call 0800872467.
Tranz Scenic says there are still seats available and they are providing the service as they know that for many people not having to worry about driving down makes for a far more enjoyable day out.
A train trip and a day of V8 racing, it doesn’t get any better.
