Search For Marie - Day Nine
14 April 2008 http
Marie Davis has now been missing for nine days. Christchurch Police continue to search the Waimakariri River banks and are going back over places she's known to have visited.
DSS Virginia Le Bas says that on the Saturday night she was last seen, she may have left her home address and gone somewhere else she knows.
"Something untoward may have happened to her in a place that she knew," says DSS Le Bas. "We're going back to her friends' addresses looking for any clues as to where she might have gone. We're double checking and clearing these places from the inquiry. This is part of normal police procedure."
Police have released photos of items similar to Marie's phone and wallet which have not been found. Marie's wallet is red not pink but the detail is the same.
