For the second time this week Otaki Police have taken a complaint from a car owner who's keys, then car was stolen while swimming at Otaki Beach The first car has been recovered abandoned in Dittmer Street.
The second car reg 'DSP639' a white 1999 Toyota Vitz 5 door hatch belonging to a woman in her 80's was taken at about 1245pm today (tuesday) and has yet to be located Victim Support have been activated to help the very upset woman Otaki Police urge car owners not to leave their keys unattended while swimming.
