Paraparaumu Airport report
Note to media:
Some radio reports are saying that the planned development of Paraparaumu Airport has been approved.
This is not the case. A report with recommendations has been received from independent hearing commissioners who have
largely recommended the changes to the district plan should be accepted.
Actual acceptance of those recommendations must wait until the commissioners present their report to the Council and the
Council votes to accept or reject those recommendations.
No approval has been given at this stage.
