Holden Astra Summer Sounds finale on Te Wero
Auckland-born Sean James Donnelly and his five-piece band SJD join local soul funk collective One Million Dollars on Te Wero Island, Viaduct Harbour for the last concert in Auckland City Council’s free Holden Astra Summer Sounds 2008.
This unique maritime venue will come alive on Friday, 28 March from 5.30pm to 8.30pm – so if you have not had the chance to catch one of these great concerts, now is the time to do so.
Concertgoers are advised that Te Wero Island falls within the council’s central city alcohol ban area.
Auckland City Council’s Music in Parks 2008 is a series of more than 40 free concerts, proudly sponsored by Holden Astra and Drake International, and supported by New Zealand Community Trust (NZCT), The Lion Foundation, Radioworks (Solid Gold, The Breeze, More FM, Radio Live and Kiwi FM), 95bFM, Ecover and NZ Rockshops.
